When I was guiding for muskies, bass and walleyes up north way back when, Gil Hamm, the founder of Muskies Inc, once said something that has stayed with me for nearly 30 years. He said,

No truer words have been spoken for a sportsman and we at Wyze Guyz Tackle take ownership in being responsible stewards of our resource so that generations to come can enjoy this amazing sport of fishing and the overall outdoors experience.
We believe that Lake Okeechobee in its purest form is NOT the "problem", but what flows into Lake Okeechobee is the real problem. 95% of the Florida watershed runs into Lake Okeechobee from the north and THEN east and west, so we need to focus on controlling that flow to ensure our coastal estuaries and Lake Okeechobee remain healthy.
Wyze Guyz Tackle has partnered with select 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organizations such as Captains for Clean Water in a continued effort to educate our fellow sportsmen and users of our waterways on the importance of conserving our waters. As a result, every online purchase that is made through our website, Wyze Guyz Tackle will donate a percentage back to Captains for Clean Water.
Captains for Clean Water is a grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that advocates for the elimination of harmful, large scale Lake Okeechobee discharges into the Caloosahatchee and St Lucie River Estuaries by restoring the natural flow of Lake Okeechobee water south into the Everglades and Florida Bay. Restoring the natural southern flow of Lake Okeechobee water is essential to the survival of our estuaries, the overall health of the Everglades and the long-term viability of South Florida’s largest drinking water source (the Biscayne Aquifer).
